Dr. Rahaman is a licensed behavior analyst in the state of North Carolina and a nationally board certified behavior analyst at the doctoral level. He earned a Master Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Rowan University under the mentorship of Bethany Raiff. During his practicum, Dr. Rahaman worked in the adult life skills program at the Princeton Child Development Institute and the acute adult program at Bancroft NeuroRehab. He earned his PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Nebraska Medical Center under the mentorship of Dr. Kevin Luczynski. During his doctoral training, Dr. Rahaman worked in the Prosocial Interactions Program of the University of Nebraska’s Munroe-Meyer Institute. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship in the Severe Behavior Department of the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute under the mentorship of Dr. Tara A. Fahmie. He also completed a fellowship in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute. Dr. Rahaman specializes in preventing, assessing, and treating significant challenging behavior. He has authored publications in these areas and has also worked on several grant-funded projects focused on improving the lives of those who display significant challenging behavior. Dr. Rahaman serves on the editorial board for Behavioral Interventions.
